The MAZE two stage compost tumbler is designed to generate the most amount of compost over time. Constructed from a zinc coated metal frame to prevent rust and a body constructed from high impact UV protected plastic. The patent pending built in ratchet lock along with the geared rotating handle make it much easier than other Composters in the marketplace to turn and mix the compost material. The large open area underneath the Composter allows for easy emptying. With the optional compost cart that fits right underneath the Composter makes moving your newly made compost simple, clean, and easy. This item is a set and comes with the MAZE composting cart, which is designed to make your gardening and composting simpler. The cart is specifically designed with a bucket to fit easier under the MAZE compost tumbler. It will also work with other Composters with a 15 In. clearance. The cart has 2 rear wheels for ease of transporting the compost.

Looking Forward to Rich Composted Soil

Arrived timely in three boxes. I needed help to assemble. The Overview description was unclear as it says “With the OPTIONAL compost cart that fits right underneath the Composter makes moving your newly made compost simple, clean, and easy. This item is a set and COMES WITH the MAZE composting cart…” The one I got Item #1228919 | Model #RSI-MCT-MC, does include the cart, which is what I wanted.

Assembly instruction nightmare

Wording, pictures and steps NOT clear or good. product seems sturdy. They say 2-4 hrs to assemble and they are right because their instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired!

Poorly designed legs

We bought this about 2 years ago and set it up in the backyard. The top is robust enough but the weight build up makes it difficult to turn the crank when the composter starts to get filled. Yesterday, as my wife was trying to turn the handle of the tumbler, two bolts in the bottom support legs snapped in half causing the filled barrels to collapse on that side. Now I'll have to replace all bolts in the legs with better quality ones or have them welded. If you plan to replace this after about 2 ...
