RESCUE! Japanese beetle Outdoor Liquid Bag Insect Trap

Unlike the Spectracide trap, the attractant is mounted on the top of the apparatus. The Japanese beetles are simply sitting on the top, and do not fall in the bag. If there were large amounts of beetles present at one time, I suspect that it would be more successful. Total waste of money for me, have used Spectracide trap for years and will use again.

It works!!!

I used to have tens of thousands of beetles all summer. I sprayed them with 3 shirts of Dawn in2 gallons of water. It killed by the thousands. Last year I found the rescue traps and they caught lots of beetles. This year's I put 2 traps out as soon as I saw the first beetle. There's little damage to ripe yellow transparent apple which used to shine coated with beetle. Just emptied them for the first time. See picture below

Product breaks easily, trap works

These traps work for the beetles, but the plastic breaks in the wknd easily so it no longer is usable.

We’ve been using this product for years and won’t use any other brand. It works instantly. If you’re having a problem with beetles just hang this nearby and It will begin to draw them in right away. Collect them and feed them to your chickens for a protein boost!

Making a simple thing complex

I have bought beetle traps for 40 years. Went to Menards and they only had this one. What an over-engineered piece of junk. Talk about Turing something simple into something so complex it barely is able to work. Wow!

Twist tie failure

I hung the beetle bag up with the supplied twist tie, This product worked efficiently until the twist tie broke and the bag fell to the ground. The lure had fallen off and was run over by the lawn mower. Being that the tie broke at the hole to hang the bag, the lure was no longer secured. The bag survived the fall but now the local hardware and big box stores are out of the lures! Bummer for me!

Unbeatable product

We have roses that get ATTACKED each June/July by these beetles. For the past 2 years we used countless bottles of insect spray. Our landscape contractor told us about this product. Within hours (literally) we had captured tons of these insects. Immediately went back to the store and bought more!!!

Made a believer out of myself and my husband

We purchased two traps as we have lost crops because of beetles. we were skeptical until we put two in our garden area. Just in a week we have caught dozens of beetles We are now believers : The traps work!

Glad I took a chance!

I bought this product having tried the insecticide "8" last year. and having at best mediocre control. This year I used this trap and a little neem oil once in a while on my plum trees and am having very good success! The trap is filled with Japanese beetles! And my trees are doing much better.

It traps a lot of Beetles

I bought 1 trap to see how it worked. It caught so many Beetles that I added another Trap to keep the Beetles from other Trees & Plants. The second Trap has caught Twice ad many Beetle’s.
