Nice system but poor documentation
The Margate rail system is well thought out. The documentation is unfortunately horrible. Anyways, you will realize that you need three categories of items - a) the rails b) the posts, and c) the connectors. For the rails you need either the straight or stair version. Then, the posts have two types as well (stair type and one for everything else.) Two helpful tips: 1) You do NOT need to double up posts on top of stairs or corners. 2) The connector angle piece needed for the top of the stair post...
Not worth the money
This system is a money pit. You have to buy everything separately and cost 2x what it should. There is very little information on any of the parts on what comes with them or how they go together. I went to the freedom site and couldn't find anything on this railing system. When I finally got the right parts for the stairs both ends on the top broke when doing final installation, cheap castings. Begs the question of how strong the brackets are if they break while pushing the bars into place. Not ...

Impossible to find anyone that knows anything about the railing, Post something on here and they tell you to CALL THEM< THANKS. No help what so ever and cant get through on the phone, Dont waste your money.

Ridiculous. Shame on Lowes
This product is ridiculous only thing worse is the instructions and they way they are written. No explanations on what accessories you need to complete stair system, I guess you are supposed to figure it out on your own! No instructional videos, no real pictures and tech support "got disconnected" twice when I called them. It is mind boggling that Lowes purchased such a complex product with little to no planning for installation help.
