Doesn't Cool, Leaks
Never cooled like I thought it would, worse yet, it cracked and now I have a leaky roof. I'll have to pay a roofer again to take it out. Complete waste of money and I'm worse off with this product then before I bought it. And yes, I had it professionally installed. They came back out to take a look at it and found a crack. Nothing they could do since I didn't buy it from them.
Competitive pricing and warranty.
Fairly easy and straight forward to install.

Leaked water in our roof. Replacing not warrantied
Make sure you read the fine print and instructions about what pitch you have on your roof etc. We spend $1000 to get 3 for our roof and they leaked, causing damage to our ceiling and lots of frustration. Apparently, you can add/rig them to not leak by adding sheet metal to the lip of the vent. We are just taking them off and putting whirly birds that did not leak back on. Frustrated. Unhappy.

Life saver!
I have a 1,700 sq ft house and needed a low-cost solution to better circulate the air in the attic. We installed 2 fans on each end of the house and the fans made a noticed difference. The rooms that were stifling are not any longer (less complaining from the kids and it’s easier to leave the thermostat between 77-78°. It’s triple digits all summer where we live, we are very glad we purchased them!

better than just wired units
designed to be a bit better cost effectiveness than regular wired fan types. keep in mind that these do require a wired electric source to compensate for night time operation should you deplete the solar battery power once the sun goes down or on cloudy days where you might not get a full battery charge.

Beware! Major Desugn Flaw! Rainwater leaks into un
Unit i not weatherproofed. When it rains, water seeps between the metal base and fan housing and right into attic The fan housing assembly sits right over the metal base with not tight seal of any kind of rubber gasket. Customer service is not willing to accept the design flaw. How do they sell outdoor attic units that aren't weatherproof. If you still use the unit you need to apply caulking all over the screws, seams and what not. Better to tay away and save your house from getting secondary w...
