Know your water first
I had one of these for 20 years to filter out sediment. It was very good at that. When I would try for the high end filters to filter out more, they plugged up often. Depends on your water, if a lot of sediment, that is all you will be able to filter. Don't buy this unit expecting the magic, all element filtration of expensive systems. I just bought two to install side by side. One will take sediment & the next, Chlorine, etc, Much cheaper than the tandem $$$$ out there. Also, these use STANDARD...

reduction inlet is 9/16
While the fitting is 3/4 the actual internal size is smaller seems to be 9/16. This is a restriction to flow.

Ok, the advertisement video for this claims it reduces sediment, chlorine taste, etc but the specs say it doesn't reduce anything. Which is it?
