Very easy to work with

Out of all the vapor barriers and or underlayments I’ve used, by far this is the absolute best. It doesn’t crinkle up, it lays nice and flat, easy to cut, and it’s nice and thick, very very easy to use and work with. It does not wrinkle up while trying to lay the LVT on top of it. I would definitely recommend this product

Works well and lays flat

For what I needed it for it worked well. Went down easy and cutting to size needed was easy. The flooring laid well on top and no bunching up. Looks great!!

Great for water prone areas

I was having a hard time with flooring In a pier and beam house specifically near tne shower. This has a durable water resistant coating. It is easy to fit to size. No strong smell. Fair price for a well made product!

Quick and Easy Value Add

Very easy to use, the integrated tape for connecting two pieces together is a nice additional although I only need one piece wide to cover this hallway application. It adds a little extra cushion under the flooring on the concrete slab which is helpful, as well as a little extra sound deadening too. Takes a little of the plastic-y sounds out of walking across the vinyl flooring. All in all, a quick and easy addition to vinyl plank flooring that adds a nice touch to a new install.

Honestly, I did not need any underlayment, but I decided to give this a try ahead of whatever future project I’m tasked with, and it definitely made a positive difference. Shocking Difference In Noise

I was skeptical that this would reduce noise but quite surprised to hear how much of a difference this really makes. The product itself is very lightweight and can tear/damage quite easily so you'll want to take care when moving it about, laying it down, cutting it to size, and even removing the packaging. When laying it down it doesn't lay quite flat on its own. You'll want to make sure when you cut it to length or fit around obstacles that you take this into account as whatever you place on to...

A must have for laminate under flooring

The Project Source Underlayment is a must have if you are putting down laminate flooring. The “fan fold” design makes it very easy to open up and maneuver around the room. It is 1.5mm thick foam with a plastic/foil waterproof barrier. The peel and stick feature is great to add pieces together. If you are joining different types of flooring like hardwood, make sure you calculate the total thickness of the flooring and pad so they are equal in height if you want a flush level.

Will make your floor install a breeze

After tearing up my concrete floor to redo the plumbing to install a walk in tub, it's time to fix the floor. After leveling the concrete, I'm using this underlayment . I love how it's lightweight, folded up for ease of moving and flexibility, the peel and stick seams and how easy it is to cut. The grids help keep everything all lined up perfectly. It's a great all in one underlayment, easy to install, provides a vapor barrier and insulation at the same time.

Decent thin underlayment, does the basics well.

I used the Project source 1.5 mm foam moisture resistant underlayment under laminate flooring. It unfolded and cut easily, the attached vapor barrier is a nice touch over concrete and the low profile helped with doorway clearances. The trade off is thickness. At 1.5 mm it doesn’t hide subfloor imperfections. Seams also need taping as the thin material shifts easy.

Does what it’s supposed to do!

I used this underpayment when installing LVP flooring and it worked really well. Thanks to the packaging, it was easy to move, laid flat without much fuss, and made the installation process a lot smoother. The grid pattern was a nice touch for keeping everything lined up and the attached moisture barrier gave me a peace of mind. Now that the flooring is installed, it definitely helped reduce noise and gave the flooring a more comfortable underfoot.
