Color lasted two weeks…. Seriously
I’ve purchased this variety of mulch when it goes on sale 5 for 10 for many, many years. Usually the color lasts a solid 9 months but this go around it lasted two weeks. When I purchased it most locations were sold out however I waited a few days and picked up a fresh batch at a Lowe’s near me. I purchased black, it sat in my drive for a week, I applied it last weekend and it’s now brown. It rained a total of 1 time. I’m not sure what happened but I’m not a happy customer. Stick and rocks! Where is the mulch?
I always buy mulch in bulk from the local sawmill (Reeves sawmill in Bourbon MO.) and then haul it on an open trailer to my home. This year I decided to try having Lowes load a pallet of mulch on my trailer. Then when I got home I could unload the pallet with my tractor forks and set it down where I needed to.
