The adjustable feature does not work well

I was happy to find the bronze lamp harps, since I recently purchased buffet lamps in a bronze finish. The harps on the lamps I purchased were a bright gold, so I liked the idea of using the bronze harps. Because these particular harps adjust for several different sizes, it made them unstable when a lamp shade was fitted onto them.
