Do Not Buy
Drove 2.5 hrs each direction (280 miles total) to purchase this unit. Blower would not turn, just motor hum. Opened unit and adjusted motor and cage (1.5 hrs). Filled with water and attempted to roll 2 feet but cheap caster was bent. Unit had obviously been dropped causing these 2 problems. 2 of the cellulose pads installed backwards against arrows on pads. Blows water out of the pad in the back
I have been using the cooler in my shop for about 4 months. It cools great, but I had to put a shield on the back because it blows water our of the pad. If I lessen the water supply, the pad dries out and I lose efficiency.

Second portacool to have
I did have water flow issue on first startup, distributor tube had a clog, and hose feeding it was crimped. I fixed the 2 small issues and now have full flow over the media. Cools great, i would buy another one if needed. I have a 14 year old portacool still kicking, the dogs love it.
