Design is faulty, if it fails, will leak in wall
The design is faulty, if the seal around the plastic valve leaks it drips down into the wall, where you wont see it, and can cause mold and lots of damage in the house due to a water leak in the wall. I just noticed other brands have the brass come past the tile line in the shower, so a leak wouldnt happen in the wall. Wish I would have noticed this before I installed these in all my showers. Installation Issues
I did a remodel and used this valve with the Masey trim kit on two bathrooms at a customer's house. I hired a professional plumber to install but have had issues. One of them eventually was installed correctly with no more issues, but the handle in the other bathroom either falls off, or can be installed with a large gap between the trim ring and the tile. Wonderfully constant shower temp!
My father bought me the shower/tub set for my house main bath, and I used it for the first time on 1/1/19. I even flushed the toilet while showering and NO temp change. Replacement parts simple and easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The upstairs shower faucet slowly dripped and soon leaked more. Nobody uses the upstairs bathroom and I did not let the water drip during the winter. I took it apart and went local hardware stores and they said that Pfister maybe lifetime warranty. I found the model number and called and they sent a replacement for free. I'm no expert, but it was easy to replace.

Valve malfunction

In the last few months I have had a problem with the hot side not working properly, while I also had hot water coming from the cold taps on a nearby vanity faucet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when I upgraded my bathroom 4 years ago. Works well! 2 years ago, water flow stopped on the hot water side of the valve. Something plugged the port for the hot water. Sent Price Phister an e-mail, and they shipped a new valve to my house, no questions asked. I received an e-mail reply the next day saying they were shipping a replacement valve. The new valve arrived less than a week after I sent my e-mail to them.
