This makes a perfect dog access. However, it should be explained that with the dog door in place a human cannot fit through the remainder of the opening unless they are incredibly thin. I use my patio door so I have not installed it permanently as instructed. I realize there is the possibility my dog could lift the dog door while going through dislodging it from the channel and causing it to fall out. I will McGiver it to avoid that.

Petsafe pet door for glass sliding door
It was not as easy as we thought to install the pet door, but once in, works great and looks nice. Cats got used to it in a few days with our help.

Easy!
I placed it inside my sliding glass door in 5 minutes! It was.so easy! And then my friend helped me secure it and now im able to lock it in. Its perfect and my puppy loved it!
