Gaps between planks and planks are MDF NOT Plywood
Very disappointed. Two BIG problems. I should have heeded the warnings of other reviews. There really are gaps between the planks as indicated by other users (see pictures). I fired one installer because I thought they were installing it wrong. The second installer confirmed that it is not a installation problem but a product flaw. See picture below. Second problem is total false advertising. I ordered over $10k worth of flooring thinking that the wood planks were plywood NOT MDF as advertise...
not at all durable
I bought this flooring about a year ago, and installed per instructions over the Pergo Gold underlayment. You really do need the installation tools to have any chance of getting it to lock together. Once I figured it out, it went pretty smoothly. Like other reviewers, I noticed that the ends were not cut perfectly square, which meant the butt joints didn't align quite right. It's only a degree or so off, but the tolerances for a good joint are so tight it's visible. I didn't think anything ...

Buyer beware
We read through the reviews and bought a box before dropping $4k on this floor. It's as beautiful as the pictures, for sure, but as others have said, the boards themselves are not square. We read some reviews which said it could be tapped out, but we tapped the living daylights out of this stuff, to no avail. When we put together a box, two boards appear to align just fine, but when you're putting it down in a sheet on the floor, you can see that on one end of the board it is flush, and the o...

Really Saitsfied
I bought this product to put into a 9.5' by 13.5' room. I figured for 5% waste and so bought six boxes. In the end, I had one 3' plank and various 2" to 3" cutoffs left. All of my planks snapped together cleanly without leaving gaps. You have to use a tapping block to securely close the gap. I bought the generic tapping block set sold at Lowes and it worked great with this product. Of my six boxes, I didn't have any damaged boards or any boards that were too out of straight to force into place w...
Great looking floor
I was hesitant after the reviews, but the gaps that people complain about really aren't that bad and they are uniform on my floor (just installed 360 sq ft). I believe they actually might be expansion joints. I only had one defective board where the gap would have been big and not uniform and I just didn't use it. I will say that out of the 18 boxes I ordered, there were more boards that I found too off in either color or with horrendous knots. I ordered 10% extra and literally was down to my la...

Big Gaps Between Ends of Boards, Boards NOT Square
You get what you pay for. This appears to be a bargain until your installer has to spend twice the time because the boards don't mesh together on the ends and the maple part of the boards are not square. This leaves large gaps, large enough to put your fingernail between the ends of the boards. It also means the gaps are uneven, touching or near toughing at one point and bigger gap as move along to other side of board. You can't use a square on each board to figure out which ones are true and wh...

Suits us.
My wife and I bought one box to get acquainted with the look and feel, before buying the balance for our home. Assembling a patch under skylights, it became apparent that light reflection was excellent, a big plus. Brightening a room was our prime consideration. Having done Pergo before, assisting a friend doing his basement, I know what I'm in for as far as assembly goes, there are frustrating pieces that don't seem to click in as intended, aren't milled just right, etc. A small hard rubber, or...

Beautiful floor but poor quality
I installed approximately 220 square feet in our master bedroom(I am a experienced floor installer). Although this is a beautiful looking floor I would not recommend it. It seems to be very poor quality. I had to return an entire box because the top layer of the veneer was split. Unfortunately, I found several more boards that were affected and they are already installed. The ends have popped up after only being installed ~ 2 weeks and I'm questioning my choice of flooring. I was going to instal...

Easy to lay
This flooring was easy to install and looks great! Our only issue was that the box came with boards already cut down into various sizes, instead of them all being one length. We found ourselves running out of boards since we wanted to use the longer ones more frequently. I ended up returning a box full of random length boards because we didn’t use them. A few boards had some scratches, too, but overall we were happy with the quality.

Easy to install, beautiful look
Beautiful light maple floor. So easy to install with a minimum of tools. The finish is superb, time will tell if it will last. We used 8 boxes for our project and the cutting lost was not even 48 inches total. We already think to use it for an other room.
