3 bags with zero growth

I put down 3 bags of the smart seed, each 2 weeks apart. I even covered the seed with raked over topsoil on the last application, watered appropriately daily and got no growth at all. I typically seed 2 times a year and this was the first time I've had nothing germinate. By the time I gave up on growth the guarantee period had expired.

Revised Lawn Appearance

Here in Texas, it may take Bermuda about 2 to 3 weeks to germinate but it depends on the temperature for the seeds to germinate. Texas and other parts of the U.S. have may have problems if they have hard clay or subnormal soil but that's not a problem to get it started. Ideally, the temperature should be under 75°F with planting grass seeds and no lower than 45°F for the germination process. Lawn care

Seems like a good system. The seeds are dyed with juice to give them a good start. The spot amend the seeds some in a substrate. I used both and they have just started to come through. Keep well watered, which I may not be 100 at causing a slower takeoff.

Pennington Patch & Seed combo for yard repair

We are going to remove some fence panels and the area directly behind the panels get minimum sun so the ground is basically bare. Good seed

I got this Bermuda grass seed for an area of my yard that was destroyed by construction equipment doing work on my property. I got both the smart seed and smart patch. I threw it out and made sure it was watered enough so that it stayed moist. It sprouted in 4 days. After it grew an inch or so I really made sure it was watered. Filled in everything great.

Smart seed and Smart Patch

I used smart seed and smart patch on my front yard. I live in Florida so I have mostly sand. I added a layer of dirt and then put the seed and patch down. Unfortunately, it rained and washed most of it away, so I didn’t get any grass growing. The product did not work very well for me.

Grass does grow

This product was easy to use and I had good results, as the seed germinated quickly, and grass began to grow where applied to barren locations in my lawn.

Easy and effective lawn patching.

Both lawn care products arrived in excellent condition with understandable application instructions. Both items were applied to areas of our yard that had been excavated for a new driveway and sidewalk upgrade. Areas adjoining new concrete were laid in sod, but many areas were still bare, or the grass had been disturbed. Applications were made to fill thin or bare ground areas. This is a time producing project becase of developing growth, but areas look very promising and filling in nicely.

Easy to grow!

Both products work great in dry bare hard to grow dirt. So easy to use and results in seven days. The smart patch is effective on very hard dry dirt if you keep it moist and covered in straw till it sprouts. The smart seed contains fertilizers which also help the surrounding grass.
