bought this window. after installation noticed one of the lock latches is installed totally crooked. doesnt latch well. clearly there is no quality control from pella. spend good money for crap.

Inconsistent & Crooked

I have purchased multiple Pella 150 Series windows for my house from Lowe's before. Previously purchased windows were alright, they aren't high-end obviously, so I can't expect a lot from them. This time the locks are crooked, the screens are completely different "redesigned" from the other 150 series windows purchased last year (2024), AND the screens have gaps in each corner...What's the point of the screen in this case at all? All 3 windows in this order are exactly the same with issues. ...

Would Not Recommend

Missing screws, rain guard, and gap spacer on one of the windows. Also, Energy Star in Florida only. Lowes is purchasing them for the wrong zone.

Disappointed with Quality Control I purchased several Pella windows from Lowe’s expecting a smooth experience, but unfortunately had multiple issues. One of the windows came with dirt or debris trapped inside the glass, which I didn’t notice until after the window was installed. It’s frustrating because now I’m stuck with a window that looks dirty no matter how much I clean it. Pella 150 replacement windows are excellent for the DIYr. As long as you know how to measure , you'll be fine. There are several YT videos on how to accurately measure for a new window. I've replaced windows before, so I was confident. These windows are super easy to install. You'll need a cordless drill, scraper, box cutter and of course good caulk. The two windows I replaced have an extended overhang, so I did not have to replace my wood brickmold as it was in excellent shape. But, if y...

Great windows

Would Recommend

The windows are great. They are easy to install with predrilled holes and easy to open and close, but the screens are very difficult to take off and put on. I am hoping that indicates that no bugs shall be able to pass through them. Since the windows tilt in for cleaning I am hoping I never need to remove them again. Once installed the screens do not obscure the view.

Make sure you can remove screen

The full screen was impossible to remove without something to pry it out of frame. I have replaced over 50 replacement windows and many more screen removals without problems. Glad I put it in. Can you imagine if a contractor had installed several windows and come time to remove screen and couldn’t. I had to remove entire window to pry screen from its frame. Other than that it looks like a nice window.
