This is a very, VERY, quiet fan! Even when set to the high flow setting (this has to be done during installation, or you have to remove the cover to change it - so basically, set it and forget it), you can barely hear it. That being said, my one problem with this is the "white" light. It's a little on the blue side, and there's no way to adjust it for a "warmer temperature" color of light. This is the best exhaust fan ever. It really sucks the air out of your home to include odors and steam. The best thing is that it is very quite. Both are really good features. Installation is a breeze. I only trust this brand in all my homes.
