Designed to use your existing valve, it replaces the old showerhead with an elegant, 8-inch rain showerhead and multi-function handshower. The integrated brass slide bar allows adjustable height control for the handshower and brass soap dish while providing a conveniently located diverter for switching functions. The soothing rain showerhead and multi-function handshower can be used separately or together for a multitude of spray combinations. Available in Chrome, Brushed Gold, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black or Oil-Rubbed bronze to match any decor. The Kauai Shower System simply connects to the water supply at your existing showerhead location and uses your existing hot/cold shower valve. Typical install is less than 1 hour—even for the do it yourselfer. This Shower System does not come with a hot/cold mixing valve, please refer to the Tru-Temp valve (Model #3001-RIV-PB) if you are remodeling and need a valve.

Gasket fitting to stop leaking is flawed.
We purchased this system for our master bathroom. After paying for the plumbing and tiling, the plumber installed the shower-head and turned-it on. It leaks from the top joint. I watched the plumber disassemble it again and we inspected the seals. They are not broken, yet when assembled, it continues to leak.

Nice rain shower head and great shower wand.
While this install is a little more technically challenging, anyone with any plumbing experience should be able to install it. Once installed, it performs well. Does all I expected of it; and the rain shower head is really nice. Like being in a rain shower. The water isn't SPRAYING on you. That's what the wand is for. I recommend this product.

This is by far the best shower head we have had. This makes the second house we have installed this fixture in and it provides all the pressure you may need. It also has the raised head which is great in a standard shower, where they install heads to low for my husbands height.

Plastic of rain showerhead has already split.
Had been satisfied with this unit, other than having to use showerheads separately!! Now, the rain showerhead plastic has split in two places causing the water to spray forcefully to the back and corner of shower!! Makes the rain shower unusable!! Paid a high dollar price for this unit as part of a full bathroom renovation and now only have one option to use the had held shower!!! Rain showerhead needs to be replaced!!!
