As an owner of half a dozen gas saws from 40cc to 90cc my expectations for a battery saw were pretty low. But I gave the Prorun 60 volt a try. I spent 2 days chewing up dead standing pine and oak. Yes it runs a Pico size chain, but feels similar to a 45cc saw for torque. I never killed the battery, i cut up to 4- 60 foot pines on one charge, and 4 - 35ft oaks on another charge. I got tired, or ran out of storage before I ran out of battery. I recommend this saw wholeheartedly. I have not...

My first battery driven chainsaw
This thing has every bit of the power that I was getting from a gas-powered chainsaw, with none of the struggle of getting it started. I don't know about you, but when I'm in freezing conditions (or swelteringly hot conditions, for that matter) the last thing I want to be doing is struggling to start a chainsaw by pulling on the cord over and over. Bad Product
Just received item. Bad Battery/Charger right out of box! Should have trusted 1 star reviews about bad battery/charger. Now I have to drive to Lowe's to return and spend over $30 dollars in gas. I guess the Quality Contol at PRORUN is either non-existent or they fail to properly test their battery/chargers. I don't recommend this product!
