Good Saw For Casual/Hobby Use
I purchased this back in Summer 2016 with visions of all the woodworking I was going to do. Little did I know that those projects wouldn't occur until late 2018. I finally unboxed the 2.5 year old saw over this past Thanksgiving week and used it to build a desk, cutting through 2x4's, OSB board, angled quarter rounds, etc. Setup wasn't too bad - do remember to take out the styrofoam housing around the motor before use! For longer wood I had to get a bit creative in supporting the weight where ...

Cheap, save the money and buy a real tablesaw
Got this saw and really not impressed with it at all. The fence is easily unsquared and the cheap build quality makes the whole thing wobble. Saw the $200 and find a much better saw.
Good saw
Only thing i wish is that the table was bigger everything else great

Dissapointed in Porta Cable
I bought this saw over a year ago. Worked great for about two months and the shaft bent on the motor. I didnt get around to returning it, so Im am stuck with that one.. Decided to give it another try yesterday and purchased another one.. Made one cut stripping a 2X4 and the motor burnt up. took it back and spent the money on a Kobalt.. It works like a champ. I am dissapointed in PC, I own 9 of there battery power tools that have been tested to the extreme and not had one issue.. I expected bette...
Blade installed wrong?
I used this saw for the first time today to rip a 45-degree cut in a 6x1x8' Advantage pine board. I'm no pro, but have enough experience to know the smoking blade and difficulty to manage the board wasn't normal. Something didn't seem right and it finally dawned on me - shouldn't the teeth cut downward in the front, cutting from the top and putting downward force on the board into the table? The blade came installed like this - is this wrong? It didn't seem like a return when I bought it. Tomorr...
A bargain for the price
Fantastic little workhorse. Easy to use. The blade it came with is awesome. It cuts through laminate flooring with ease. The cuts are more than adequate. I bought a more expensive blade and it was a waste, the blade it comes with will handle the job. Set up is easy.
