This blender is a a piece of junk!

This blender is a hunk of crap. I have been trying for the last hour to get glass jar top seal. I bought as Oster because my mom had one decades ago which worked great and is made of glass. The quick guide and instruction manual stink. No clear instruction how to get the glass jar to seal. What a piece of junk!. How do they stay in business.

No what I expected

I bought it ,and this is the replacement of my original shop, the first split from the rotating tip. And this one is already giving flashes and stop after the 1 minute of starting working.. Not so happy with my adquired they were built better .

Broken

We're bought this 2 years ago. And it's worked great for smoothies but the first time we tried the food processor was to make peanut butter and it broke the shaft in the past called "adapter" which is what connected the blades to the base. So now the food processor is useless and I can't not find a replacement pay without buying an entire new vessel with blades lid and adapter.

Great for years

I've been using this for years, no problems. Way better than any ninja I had in the past.

Food Processor is a disaster.

I have enjoyed using the blender, however, the first time (only time) I used the food processor was to grate chocolate and it was awful. Instead of grating the chocolate it melted it. Then, it was almost impossible to open as the chocolate seemed to seal the lid closed. When I finally got it apart I noticed that several of the parts seem to be worn out. It has only been used that once. I followed the instructions using pulse and low speeds only.

Cheap plastic

The lid broke the 2nd time I used it and there don’t seem to be replacement parts.

Not thrilled

I bought this blender about 2 months ago and went to use it today. I put in all the ingredients and turned it on and it leaked all over the countertop. Threw out what I was attempting to make. Took everything apart and watched some videos and realized the gray ring around the blade didn’t fit and would not snap into place. Very frustrating

Design flaw

The 2 blending bases are very similar but if you use the wrong sealing ring, the ring gets blended with the smoothie. Replacement sealing rings are not available making the blender unusable

Muy Buen Equipo

Compre un equipo de este modelo y mi esposa le coloco mal la junta negra que viene con el vaso Tritan y se daño y ahora no consigo comprar esa junta solamente. En las ofertas de ventas de juntas solo se ofertan las de color gris con pestañas que no tiene la junta negra del vaso Tritan. Esto fue una mala colocacion de la junta porque realmente este equipo es increible lo bien que funciona estamos muy contentos con esta compra

Very Disappointed With This Model Blender

I have no idea how people can give this cheaply made Oster blender a good review. Throughout the years my family has used Oster blenders and they have have been great. However, this Oster Pro with texture settings is a complete piece of junk. It wouldn't even turn or blend a protein shake with milk, ice and bananas.
