Optimal opti plus 15kW 240V 3 GPM Wifi Enabled 25-Year Warranty Electric Tankless Water Heater

We are Thrilled with our new Optimal!

We are 24 hours post install, and it is working as expected for hot showers, and washing dishes. There was a bit of a learning curve for us on the plumbing side of the install. Ryan has the solutions though, and after talking with him everything clicked. Before purchasing the Optimal we had two different local plumbing companies tell us that an on-demand electricit water heater wouldn't be feasible for our 3 BR house. They wanted to sell us another tank with only 1/4 the warranty period of the ...

Opti 18

Mine is probably a little different installation story. To make a very long and frustrating story short here is the synopsis! Because I live at the end of a water line, which is across the state line, it became evident that there existed several issues with my water system and how it was install. Such as; water pressure issues, water back flow issues, different sizes of water pipe and water pressure mixing valves. All of which became evident after installation of the Opt 18. None of the units fa...

Not Reliable/Inconsistent Water Temps

We started with decent and consistent water for a few weeks. Then the water wouldn't reach proper temps. We reduced flow and that fixed the problem for a while (cold incoming water in the winter was the main issue). Now the water fluctuates from very hot to cold and you cannot regulate it. And in addition the wifi feature hasn't worked in months. Sounds good, but too good to be true.

The Best

I am extremely pleased with my purchase . The optimal team has provided, by far, the best customer service of any company I have dealt with in 40 years of purchasing home equipment. The unit, the opti 27, has delivered as promised. This company has indeed built a better mousetrap and anyone seeking an electric on demand hot water system would be remiss if they did not look into purchasing one of this company’s’ products. Thanks!!!

Cold Climate Heat Pump DHW Booster

We bought this for a new build that will have a air to water heat pump in the Colorado mountains - climate 7 rating. We are using it as a domestic hot water booster when it's cold out and the heat pump can't keep the water in the indirect water heater hot enough for hot water. It will also function as backup in case the heat pump needs servicing, so we will always have hot water in the house. We purchased this tankless because it specifically says it works as a booster, while other tankless wat...

fast shipping easy install.

This was shipped in a few days well packed damage free. They take much better care from the factory than most of my HomeGoods deliveries. Easy fast install, diy friendly if you are already set up for tankless. I have two units the 27K plus and 15K plus.

Excellent customer service

I have been looking for a new water heater and after looking and both tank and tankless water heaters I decided to go with tankless. I searched the Internet and looked at lots of reviews of the products available. I discovered this water heater by Optimal and called their sales team to talk with them. I spoke with Rory and he was patient, spent much time with me and answered all of my questions. I decided to go with their product and was planning on ordering a scale filter with the water heater,...

I purchase the Optimal 27-plus unit.

New to Tankless water heaters, the Optimal 27-plus is a WiFi unit and comes with a 25-year factory warranty. I highly recommend this unit.

So far, this has been an excellent unit. It is servicing 5 people in the home. Delivered when expected. I did pay my maintenance person to install it and had to spend about $4,000 to have an electrician add an extra connection to my electrical box because this unit was larger than my last tankless water heater, which only required 1 extra fuse. This was an unexpected expense. I also added a water softener to ensure it doesn't get clogged up by hard water deposits. Not sure about customer service...
