I purchased this batch of Ondura in 2006. My warranty was void because I did not keep the highly pitched roof clean. The south east side is perfect. The shady north west side has peeling paint and lichen. The warrant was void because of the dirty roof. The debris and dirt was caught by the peeling paint. Life is too short to battle with Ondura. Read this before you decide

We bought Ondura in 2012 when we bought a different house. It looked fine after installation. Our roof gets even amounts of shade & sun all year. Our attic is vented well & we hoped that would help extend the life of our Ondura roofing. 6 years after it was installed we noticed water spots in our attic. Our enthusiasm was short-lived.

We were really excited to try this, as we wanted a tin roof look without the tin roof. This was for our son's new playset, and we thought it would be a great finishing piece for the playset. Don't waste your money

Brought this stuff to roof our barn and after 10 years, had holes and cracks all over. Reroofed with metal on 1 barn and shingled the horse barn. Warranty doesn't work neither. Had 20 pages to fill out, needed tons of pictures and all receipts. So don't bother with it.

Becomes brittle over time

I installed this on a small building. It tears easily over the first year and it flexable. Then after a few more years it becomes brittle and breaks. The first year its bends if a stick hits the roof and sticks bonuce off. After a few more years when its brittle anything small object that hits it will punch a hole threw it. I have made a few patches over the years, but its time to replace with metal. Tearing it off today.

I love this roofing material

I used these sheets for my horse shelter roof. I was concerned about leaking since I didn't utilize a layer beneath, but between the special nails and some caulk, I haven't noticed a single leak in over 5 years. I intend to use it again when I build my second shelter, and if I had my choice, I would sheath my home roof with it as well.

Excellent

Very easy to install. Watched videos on youtube to make sure I understood how to install. Be careful to ensure that branches or other items that might bang into it in a strong wind. It will break. Easy to cut with circular saw.

Nice look and feel

Easily cut with circular saw and blade installed backwards. Using the correct nails made the installation a breeze.
