Olympic paint is the best. I’ve been a professional painter in my early career, and been through ,any brands of paint, but Olympic is the best brand I’ve used. It is a shame Lowes is discontinuing it!

Seconds can be so GOOD!

I needed to paint my garage, and as a retired military person, I wanted it to last but I couldn't afford top of the line interior paint. As it turned out, there was a 5 gal return of Olympic Flat latex interior paint, which the person who brought it back managed to use about a gallon, but it still held 4 gallons, which I utilized on my garage interior walls. It was Perfect! the small hole opening was just the right size so as to not gush out, like the gallon cans often do, and the paint rolled ...

Strike 3 It's Out

This is the 3d time I've allowed a customer to select paint for a rental and they have selected the $40-cheaper (than other brands) Olympic 5 gal bucket. It is like water. From now on, I'm stipulating that customers can pick any paint but this.

I am in the process of using some paint that somebody has bought this stuff has got to be the lowest garbage and such poor coverage as well. I am painting over flat paint the walls have a heavy orange peel on them . I have a flight to coat of paint already it looks like I’m getting flashing all over the place I have mixed the paint up two times already . The tint base is separating from the color as it sits in my paint bucket .This stuff is pure garbage I would not recommend anybody to use this ...

If going over dark colors two coats are needed. Nice coverage overall.

Does not work as advertised

I refinished our kitchen cabinets with this paint because it’s stated on the label EXTREME HIDING POWER - FOR EXCEPTIONAL COVERAGE. After three coats the wood grain kept coming through. Followed manufacturers surface preparation. Maybe they should state that it won’t work on kitchen cabinets. I normally use a competitors brand. Don’t think I’ll choose this brand or paint again.

One coat on white

Worked very well over white but I cannot say how it covers other colors.

A huge waist of time and money

I had bought the large 620 fl. oz. to paint my house. Lucky the previous owners had already primed the walls. I painted the walls with two coats as recommended. When I finished I noticed ugly splotches of discoloration all over my walls. I thought I may be able to cover them by painting on another coat, but I noticed it only left more ugly splotches. Poor coverage extremely thick paint

I purchased Olympic one paint and primer in a dark green for a bedroom previously painted antique white. I was told it would only require 1 coat... Not the next day you can see the original color coming thru....
