Great smoker but needs some re-engineering
The OKJ Bronco is a fantastic unit. Holds heat well for long cook times. Used this to teach my son to cook outdoors. While the smoker is solid the issue that prevents it from 5 stars is the seal/lid gasket has come completely off the lid. Trying to use it with the seal falling out is not easy. I’ve tried to re-install but the staple/wire looking gasket stays don’t stay. At this point it’s just not usable and it’s only 8 months old.

I got this as a birthday present, 7 years ago. I have to confess I was not impress at first, I even got dissapointed, this happend after I assambled the smoker, my concerns was regarding how do I add fuel to the container, if there is no point of access, how long does the fuel last. This pit can cook both low and slow and grill.
I purchased this smoker two days ago, put it together, seasoned it, and broke it in with a slab of ribs and a spatchcock chicken. Both proteins came out tender and juicy. The Bronco is a beast, and I highly recommend this pit.
