If I could give the grill zero stars, I would. Purchased grill, but certainly not worth the $1.300!!!! Grill would not hold heat and continued to beep. Auto lite did not work and I had to continue to manually light it every time it went out. Waste of time and had I not had my handy dandy charbroiled grill, my meat and cookout would have been a disaster!!! Please don’t waste your time or money!

Very Frustrating Smoker

Door sensors stuck in the open position so the fans won’t run consistently. WiFi and Bluetooth will not stay connected and firmware won’t download updates. Does not hold temperature at set level on it reaches there. Really wanted to like this smoker, but it has been impossible to use without issues popping up. May be a faulty unit- was prebuilt by Lowe’s and I double checked against the build manual once home.

Fire Grate material inadequate

the grate that you slide in for the fire box to let let the ashes collect in the bottom tray and have the smoker operate properly is made of a material that just clearly can't hold up to the heat strain as you cycle cooks the longer you have the grill. Oklahoma Joe honoted the warranty i had had and sent a replacement part but after oklahoma joe was bought by charbroiler they no longer make that fire grate. Not impressed with the foresight of this company at all.

Knockoff Masterbuilt

Do yourself a favor and just buy a masterbuilt. This junk cost way to much to have this many issues. I bought a 560 masterbuilt 6 or 7 years ago and it does a better job every time. Its just smaller but at least it's a quality grill that last.

Useless app

I've had this smoker for over 2 years. It is great at burning charcoal, which is why I bought it, and was really excited about the electronic fan controller so I didn't need to babysit it, HOWEVER, the app is total garbage. I can't even log into it anymore so I can't monitor the cook.

cheap

I have owned a lot of Oklahoma Joes items including a longhorn smoker that lasted me 10 years. This grill barely made it two years. and what broke was the fire grate, the ash drawer warps almost to the point you can't get it out. this is a lot like the cheap grills I used to buy.

Best grill purchase in a while.

For anybody who is looking for a grill, but don't wanna buy a pellet grill. Buy this grill or something close to it. I I love the Oklahoma Joe's Tahoma Gravity Feed. The only negative comment I have about it. Is not knowing where it get hot at to correctly place the lump coal or wood chucks.

BUY SOMETHING ELSE

Please pass on this as a purchase, and DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUTUBE INFLUENCERS. I wanna say no gravity smoker/grill is perfect but this is robbery. Hard pass!!

Mediocre at best, clogs all the time randomly shuts off takes forever to get started and up to temp. I bought this after using the Masterbuilt gravity fed for several years I was very happy with the Masterbuilt and will be going back with my next grill purchase.

Piece of Junk

This gravity feed pit is a complete piece of junk. The charcoal and wood get stuck, the pit stops keeping consistent temperatures after about 4 hours of smoking and I have not figured out why. I would not recommend this pit to my worst enemy. That is the worst $900 I have ever spent. Caveat Emptor!
