What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pipe joint compound for creating reliable, leak-free seals on water and gas lines, often where Teflon tape failed. Reviewers consistently report it works as advertised, stops persistent leaks, and performs under high pressure. Many highlight its ease of application and speed compared to tape, reducing the need for multiple wraps. Customers express strong confidence in the product's quality and dependability, with many stating they would repurchase. A few note the application is messy and requires stirring, and rare isolated reports mention leaks, though these are vastly outweighed by positive experiences. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it as a superior, professional-grade sealing solution.

After replacing/repairing some of the plumbing on my pool's filter this year, I had a leak despite using teflon tape. After unscrewing/retaping a couple of times and still having a small leak, I purchased this to use, in addition to the tape. It worked perfectly - no more leaks! Also it's non-hardening, so I can unscrew/replace the threaded adapter in the future, if needed.

Stays tacky
I used this to join pool and spa flex hose to my pool filter in order to make the spring and winter connecting/disconnecting easier. It stays tacky, but seems to do the trick so far.
