This OX Chalk Reel is a real bonus on the job. Tried one all summer and ended up getting them for all the guys on my crew. It's got that solid, no-frills build that feels like it can go through the mill and can handle whatever you throw at it. Tuff inside and out
I have dropped this thing more times than I can count and it is still working like it should.
Kevlar line is amazing
way outperforms my current braided lines... I used a handful of brands in the past.. sticking with this one for sure!!

Absolute garbage
I didn't snap a single line before it broke! I couldn't even get the thing to come out or real after adding chalk. I've snapped hundreds of lines with a little cheapo Irwin without any issue.
Weak gears
It felt really solid but the gear mechanism broke 2 days after I bought it.

It’s better than most chalk lines out there I use chalk line every day I use pretty much Al brands Milwaukee was good but start having gear issues tajima is real good but too spensive and the string is to weak honestly this one is very strong
