i have several , use every day, they keep my medical scooter in place on its carrier. they are so quick and hold well. had one get dragged across town on road cause i didnt secure it, it took the road damage ok just needed to lube it and it still doing its job. i also use a figure nine on same carrier for securing other load

I bought 2 sets of these to help secure small loads and to hold down my tonneau cover when hauling oversized lumber. Both failed every time.
