5 months old and making a loud noise
Our beverage fridge is 5 months old and is now making a loud noise when it runs. We can hear it from other rooms in our house and the family room that it is in, it very loud when we are visiting or watching tv. I contacted customer service and they had me send an audio recording and came back and told us that this is normal. Stopped working after 3.5 months!!!
This refrig stopped working only 3.5 months after purchased AND to make matters worse, I had to pay $163.59 for shipping a replacement one to my home!!!

Unit Died Less Than 2 Years!!
I cannot recommend these units. My unit died in less than 2 years of use. The unit stopped cooling and when I contacted newair they offered to send out a new temperature sensor. This did not fix the issue and another call to newair informed the unit had a cooling system issue. I had the unit diagnosed at a local appliance repair who identified that the compressor was not longer working. It was great initially...
Had this unit for a few months until frost buildup started occurring at the back of the unit. We would fully defrost and it kept happening. Waiting replacement unit now and I am really hoping we do not have the same issue again.

Looks good, great customer support
It looks great, and was one of the few beverage coolers that come in black to match the rest of our appliances. The first unit had an issue but customer service has been great, so overall I'm happy.

ABR-1770 Beverage fridge
We've used this fridge daily for about 4 years, before the power control board went out. Newair has been helpful in replacing the part. Although the minimum temperature only goes down to 37 degrees, we've been happy with the unit for primarily beverage cooling and overflow refrigeration during entertaining.
