It does not match if you are putting this end to end it will NOT match the section beside it. After a complete new set was set to me, it still does not all match. I am not sure why this is so hard to accomplish. Not sure if its milled in different ways or painted on different assembly lines or what. Kit came incomplete with one slatwall missing. The packaging was very damaged and a few pieces needed to be bent back straight. I do like the Newage slat wall overall once you get past the common New Age shipping damage. A drawback is that the trim piece on the top isn't a great design as it has "magnets" but they are weak and you need to remove them to have it sit flush with the mounting screws.
