Chinzan burst into bloom in late Spring with bright salmon-pink blossoms that draw in pollinators such as butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Its vivid blossoms emerge again in late Summer and fall, followed by a dramatic color transformation as its foliage takes on purple-red shades. 'Chinzan' makes an excellent evergreen addition to woodland gardens, low borders, Japanese gardens, and even containers. Simply plant in partial shade and well-drained, acidic soil, and enjoy its beauty year after year.
