I needed the means to lift HVAC equipment and "stuff" up to my attic over the garage. So, I rigged up a pulley system using two of these pulley's and it worked perfectly. Using two pulleys, as shown in the photo, reduce the amount of force I needed to pull on the rope to raise and lower loads by 50%. I used a 5/16" nylon rope and that fit the groove in the pulley well.

whats the ID to hang the pulley? hard to order hardware for a dimension not listed

I was wondering if this has stainless bearings? It's rated for outdoor use, but I need to have something that won't rust when exposed to moisture.
