It is bird seed. It feeds birds. My problem is the checkout procees. Since they dont have employees checking me out, seems it would be cheaper. Menards has plenty of cashiers.

Great quality nyjer seed
Purchased this seed to feed the birds during this very cold winter. The seed met my expectations. It was fresh and clean with little dust. The goldfinches and dark-eyed juncos were at the feeder almost immediately. It was a good value and exactly what I was looking for. I'll definitely buy this again.
