Birds love it, squirrels and raccoons don't
Our feeder was overrun with squirrels during the day and raccoons at night when using sesame based feed. We switched to this safflower seed and get the same birds as with the previous seed but no other mammals. The birds like northern cardinals, red-winged blackbirds, woodpeckers, & finches eat it.
