allen + roth 10 Liter White Plastic Commercial Indoor/Outdoor Kitchen Motion Sensing Trash Can

Excellent for a bathroom

I bought this item for our bathroom about a month ago. I really like the frame that holds the bag in place. I gave it 5 stars because the sensor works great and the size is perfect for our space!

many functions but

somehow this thing has too many functions and never just operates. The tiny post it note about programming the sensor? what happens to the user is pressing on means nothing it expects you to then fine tune it! good luck figuring it out!!!!!!! seriously I have looked for info on operational tips and good luck it shows -8 a lot also U also F and the lid stands open during all these awesome features and again good luck

Motion detection works as it should, fits standard small trash bags, also very sleek & stylish.

Well made but sensor location was inconvenient

I bought this looking for a midsize trash can for our new powder room. I was hoping for metal but plastic was all that was available. The can itself is attractive, sturdy and well made. The main problem I quickly discovered was that as a touchless trash can, in order to activate the sensor, one has to reach down to just above the lid. This sensor feature does not make sense on a smallish trash can— very inconvenient. A foot pedal is much better plan than sensor.

Solid option for bathroom or office.

I bought this trash can for my bathroom and it works quite well. It is easy to set up and quite durable even while being made of plastic. The battery lasts for a long time, althought the responsiveness of the sensor is just alright. I wish it detected motion a bit higher up so I didn't have to wave my hand so close to it. The white is matte, so it resists both fingerprints and water very well.
