Canceled order, waiting over month for refund

I can only comment on the customer service of the vendor. This is not applicable to Lowes. I ordered the item and within ten minutes tried to canceled the order when I realized it was not the item I thought it was. The Lowe's web page did not allow me to cancel the order. I called customer service. I was put on hold while they contacted the vendor. I was told by customer service that they had canceled the order with the vendor and I would see a credit. Looks great - took a couple of us to put together but instruction were good - I gave it an overall 4 because a couple of the wood threads had slight imperfections - one was not quit level and the other had a couple of cut marks - with a little sanding and clamps they came out OK you need to look hard to see anything - also they don't tell you that the wood threads are NOT finished - that was a surprise - but no problem - a little clear polyurethane good to go = and gives the purchaser an opport...

What a beautiful product and glad I chose the Mylen stair. A bit of a steep learning curve putting it together and expect an individual with reasonably good skills to spend 40 plus hours to finish. I wish I could help them qC their instructional papers. In addition, be aware that if you need an engineering stamp for your zoning code, you’ll pay an additional 500 bucks for it. Also, use industrial two sided tape rather than screws for your wood treads. Much better finish.

Great looking stairs and wood treads

Very happy with the look and quality of the stairs and wood treads. Assembly took more work than expected but my son and I were able to assemble everything over a few weekends (instructions suggest 3-4 men and it would've gone faster if we had more people). Unrolling and forming the handrail into the proper size spiral made us nervous but we took our time and followed the instructions and it turned out fine. Good end product but annoying process!

The stairs went together well. Some of the set screwed wouldn't go in all the way because the holes were not deburred on the inside. There were runs and flaws in the finish. You need to include a touch up pen with the stairs, as dings are inevitable either during installation or in use. And make sure you send all the parts. Great stairs & lots of compliments. Only struggle was the actual handrail. Very difficult to twist & keep the spindles straight. Otherwise great product.

Stair install

Thought stairs are great and we are excited to have them at our home. As I have been doing the install I am coming across the wrong screws or some of the screws in the instructions are not even in the packet. I hope to be able to finish the install without to many trips to the hardware store for extra fasteners.
