Stairs ok. Treads, service terrible.

The stairs were adaptable and solved a problem in a small space. However, the treads that were supplied with the kit were LITERALLY grip tape for skate boards: super rough sandpaper on one side, sticky adhesive on the other. Super harsh underfoot and truly IMPOSSIBLE to clean. Attracts and traps dirt, lint, etc. Had to scrape off and get custom carpet treads cut and installed at great additional time and expense. Neither Lowes nor Mylen mfr was any help at all. They were like, oh well. TERRIBLE ...

Poor design and engineering for the money

Would Not Recommend

Poorly designed - especially the rail and spindles. A lot of work to make it good for discriminating customers.
