Instructions Lacking

I'm not sure about the last reviewer, maybe he just got frustrated and couldn't figure it out on how to mount the shelf on his own but here is an honest review. Poorly Designed, Not Sturdy

Out of the box I was disappointed to realize that this shelf only attaches to the walk in two places. (The other two spots that look like they attach simply rest against the wall.) As I'm assembling the shelf, I notice that the sides which hold the bar for the hand towels are very wobbly and loose. Recommend with caution

We installed this towel rack in the wet area of master bath during our remodel. The instructions are not well written but if you take your time and measure carefully you should be fine. Be sure to use the Allen Wrench to tighten all the hex bolts before you install. My husband used Toggler Heavy Duty 3/16" toggle bolts and threw away the Moen supplied toggle bolts. Terrible Instructions

The instructions for this item are awful! We even tried YouTube and going off of the manufacture’s site with no luck at anything better. We eventually got it up, go with the size hole recommended and then if the anchors don’t fit take your screw gun back over the same hole with the same size bit to widen just the slightest bit! If you go with a size up your holes are going to be too big. The product looks good in the bathroom but we will never be able to reposition or move it. Oh well. Got it up...

Do not buy this

This is assembled with two screws on the top piece the two pieces that kind of look like suction cups that the screw that goes on each side and there's a pushing in the rail as you tighten the screw the pushing pulled out of the top section of the rail leaving the bracket loose and when you put towels on top it droops the only way to fix this is to have it spot-welded so unless you have a spot welder don't buy it

The product is of poor design - if not installed 100% the bottom towel rack will not stay in place. I thought I was an idiot trying to mount this, until I saw the other reviews of this product: the directions (specifically mounting the product) were hellacious. I thought this would be a perfect addition to our bathroom. Installed the anchors perfectly (used the template). Be aware you need 1" holes in your wall! But I can't get this shelf to stay on the wall. It'll stay up for a week, and it comes crashing down. I've done everything I can without luck (I'm pretty handy). This shelf stays on the wall with two tiny allen-wrench driven screws. That's it. Choose a different product.

PERFECT!

Very well made, beautiful design and function. I needed to update my old farm house master bathroom, which is a traditional, small bathroom. Going minimalist, I looked for quality and function. This towel rack/shelf is perfect in every way. Also, the vessel sink and trough faucet are from Lowes, very minimal, functional and works with any design. All installed by my husband in a few hours.

Not the bast Moen Product

I've installed hundreds of fixtures throughout the years. This BH5294BN shelf was just what I wanted feature wise. Spent $84.00 on the shelf and it's worth $19. If you are looking for a really nice shelf, stay away from this one. I adjusted all set screws to the inside to hold all tubes tight, I had to bend the lower arms to keep towel tube in place. Now the lower pads are not flush on the wall. PERFECT!!!
