Very poor usage instructions! Difficult to use! Does not perforate and does not facilitate the installation of the irrigation connectors as advertised. I will be returning this product to the store for a refund.

I found it to be hard to make a hole in 1/4 “ tubing and ended up not being successful. I am not sure what i’ll use in the future, but i dont recommend this one. Maybe a hot metal and poke it through that way?

Save your money
I'm 78 years old, and used me hand with tools my whole life, and continue to do so. I take pride in my tools, and continue to do so. So in my opinion, this item is a piece of dung. I used my hands to insert barbs in 1/4 in. T.ubing. It does have a nifty little needle to clear debris. If you can get it out of the tool.. Save your money a. Buy a good brand X instead.

I picked this up almost by accident. But if you are installing a drip irrigation system you need this in order to be able to punch holes in 1/2 inch tubing and connect up your lines. For me, it works better when I'm pressing the punch against something like a patio paver.
