Minwax makes some really good, affordable products. They tend to hit the sweet spot on cost-vs-value. Well... unfortunately, this isn't one of their better products. It goes on thickly, has a very short working time, and is incredibly difficult to remove. If you buy this, work in VERY SMALL sections. I found that 2 minutes was far too long to wait to remove stain. It was... just a disaster. I wound-up sanding back to wood and switching to their oil-based equivalent. They were suppose to tint the stain and never did. Now I have to drive all the way back to the store to have them do it
