Not gray
This color was not what i expected. It looks more of a dark blue when applied to bare light pine wood. We were making an accent wall of different colors. We made it work, just wasn’t expecting it to dry blue. Even after wiping after it was applied and still wet. This is only one coat.

This acts like paint, not stain
This product is like using bad paint. It is very thick and applies like paint but without the consistent coverage of paint. I can say how disappointed I am in Minwax for marketing this product as a stain. I use lots of Minwax stains and they are typically my go to.
