Preferred Poly coat

My preferred poly coating, easy to apply, does take several hours to dry, but increases the durability of furniture so much! makes it very scratch-resistant, stays clear, fills in dings and scratches for a nice smooth surface. Very pleased with this product.

I’ve been very happy with the results from this polyurethane. It was easy to apply, leveled out nicely, and left a smooth, durable finish. Once cured, the surface feels well protected against everyday wear, moisture, and scratches. I especially liked that it enhanced the natural look of the wood without making the finish look overly artificial. Preparation and applying thin, even coats definitely make a difference, but overall it was straightforward to work with and produced a professional-look...

Drips and runs

Would Not Recommend

Making a two sided hanging wooden sign with vinyl lettering. Did two thin coats with a nice Wooster brush, 24 hours apart, and when I went to pull the boards up off the cardboard they were sticking to the cardboard and had these gobs on the back. Even sanding through the paint on the gobs doesn’t remove them. If re-painting the boards with black paint doesn’t hide the gobs that remain after sanding I will have to throw them away and start my project all over.
