What Customers Are Saying

The Minwax Gel Stain received mixed reviews. Many customers praised its ease of use, good coverage, and ability to achieve an even finish. However, some found the gel consistency made it difficult to spread, resulting in an uneven or blotchy appearance. A few customers also noted the stain did not penetrate the wood well and appeared more like a paint than a true stain. Overall, the product seems to work well for many users but may require careful application and multiple coats to achieve the desired look.

This stain is also 100% drip resistant, providing even and exceptional coverage! This gel stain is not messy whatsoever! The wood frame I applied it too is a faux wood; but the penetration adhered perfectly, while maintaining perfect uniformity throughout! If you sho...
