What Customers Are Saying
Most customers praise the beautiful, durable, water-resistant finish and smooth application, with many reporting excellent results after 20-25 years. However, a substantial group expresses serious concerns about strong lingering odor, slow drying times (8-24 hours versus 4-8 advertised), and incomplete curing that leaves surfaces tacky or prone to peeling. Several note batch inconsistencies and label confusion over sheen levels. Despite these drawbacks, most reviewers who applied thin coats and sanded properly between layers recommend it for hardwood floors.

Make sure you use lamb wool pad. I applied 3 coats and floors came out nice. Strong odor, left ceiling fans on and windows open for smell to clear out.

Use a paint stick to thoroughly stir before use.
This is a wonderful product to seal wood floors with.
Easy to use
Went on easy and after 2 coats we have a great water resistant finish
Great DIY Product
The floor polyurethane worked great! This was our first time refinishing a floor and it was very user friendly. It says on the can that you do not have to sand between coats. We were nervous to do that so we went ahead and went over it with 600 grit sand paper and tack cloth between coats. It is perfectly smooth.
Great for refinishing floors

Different use but same outstanding results
I have used the poly for floors on several table tops My customers love its durability and shine. I know its for floors but if you want a top coat that will stand the test of time and give your hardwood table a shine that beats all Try it I have 2 boys and they really threw everything at it school projects and all 25 years later and it still looks great

Great Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our first house and discovered under the carpet beautiful-ish hardwood floors. So as good DIYers We watched YouTube and jumped into the task of redoing our floors. Minwax Stain (Golden Oak) followed by Minwax polyurethane sealer. WoW! Do they look amazing! And I could jump on the website and chat with an expert when I had questions.
