I purchased two for my primary bedroom and love the lighting they cast. I have soffit downlighting over pillows to read in bed, and I had boxes put on each side of the bed about headboard height for wall sconces. They throw a gentle ambiance lighting, much different than downlighting from recessed which provides overall room lighting (plus the soffit light over headboard).
