No Way It Moves 8000 CFM
In my 10'x15' screened in patio, I can barely feel any air movement sitting 3 feet away from the center of the fan. Minka is telling me this is because the RPM is too slow. They are saying the CFM is probably fine, even though they have no way to measure the actual CFM I'm getting. I have indoor Hunter Bennet 5-blade 44" ceiling fans, rated at 3000 CFM, that blow more air than this piece of crap. Don't waste your money.

Works OK with 24” downrod.
The product is relatively light, making it easier to install. The fan looks good. The fan comes with a 6” downrod. I had to add a 24” downrod to feel any breeze. Some of the directions and drawings are in micro-font….hard to read.

Contemporary & Quiet
This fit my criteria for a contemporary looking fan with a light. The fan blades are plastic but no one can tell from below. The light is very bright which is great as it has a dimmer to adjust as desired. The high speed is certainly high. I cannot hear the motor when it's running.

Quiet and Moves a ton of Air
We have 20' ceilings so this fan was installed with a 72" down rod. We replaced another style of fan by the same manufacturer b/c the other fan was too noisy. The Skinnie is so quiet, moves a ton of air and the Light is Bright too! I want to replace all of our other fans with the Skinnie now.

Flimsy plastic blades.
Instructions and assembly were good. Surprised that the blades were plastic. Didn’t see that in description and was expecting something more solid and less flimsy.
