Special order not so special
I ordered two sizes of these antique copper handles. 3.5" handles for cabinets and 5" handles for drawers. I got a text saying both sets of pulls had arrived, and since the nearest Lowe's is a 22 mile round trip, I tried calling the store to make sure the order was there and correct. The voice mail system does not allow human interaction, so I drove out there and discovered the order was incorrect... The 3.5" handles were brushed brass, not antique copper. Great finish, deep brass color.
I wanted to update my cabinets and love the warm brass color of these handles. I was worried that the finish being called "antique" it would be poorly done. I was wrong. The finish is smooth. The handles are thick, well cut and have a beautiful color. They came with three different mounting screws for each handle. Long to short. The screws provided for these are too short or too long for standard cabinet thickness. Does anyone know what size to purchase. I have tried the size in between (#8-32TPI 1-1/4in Truss head combo) but it is too thick. Any help here is appreciated!
