I purchased the 36v 4-1/2 grinder to tackle serious uneven subflooring. This grinder is very comfortable at full speed when transferring from concrete to wood subflooring. Locking spindle never came loose and the switchable handle helped get into corners in the closet. One battery charged, leveled this section of flooring. Well priced and great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to cut the cord. I use a grinder for mainly rebar and ready rod for framing and forming. Also for paddle wheel sanding of wood. This tool keeps up! It balances best with the smaller 2.5 multivolt batteries but thats the only criticism I have. I stepped into metabo HPT knowing Hitachi and metabo were hard wearing.
