Customer Sentiment
Would recommend, but...
it would be great to see those screws in 2" or even 2 1/4" or 2 3/8" length. After going through 3/4" subfloor the amount of useful grip for this 1 3/4" screw is barely 3/4" or maybe 7/8". Have used these many times on 3/4" subfloors, and every time I come to the same conclusion: it would be a much better product being a bit longer, with just a bit more aggressive thread.

subpar quality
Bought these because the competitor (who sells the Grip Rite brand for several dollars less) was out and I didnt want to drive 15 miles to save the few dollars. Needles to say I regret not taking the drive becuase these Metabo brand screws didnt not drive nearly as good as the others and stripped out very easily. My suggestion is to go with the competitor and save yourself some money and frustration!
Hitachi 1 3/4" gold floor screws
I absolutely love using these gold floor screws in my stand up screw gun when doing prep work for my tile jobs, it makes my installation of the subfloor so much easier and quicker.

Quality screws
Had two houses I needed to go in and screw down all 3/4” OSB. These screws worked great. Was able to complete the job in a quick fashion. Definitely worth the money

Too much of an angled head to drive into floor!
the screws themself are ok (?), however the large "martini" type head is horrible!! the head is so long to drive into the floor, the screw ultimately stripes the head out (even using #2 square shank screws)!! i use a speed drill and have used Senco screws and they drive in like champs, but can't get them anymore (no one carries them). I even tried them to fasten down some hardie board thinking they would pull through the top....wrong. i would not get these unless the wood you are sinking the...
