Learn MoreMetaboHPT's 18 Volt cordless 3/8 In. right angle drill, the DN18DSLQ4M is designed to drill and drive into the tighter spaces than an ordinary drill. This tool is equipped with a 3/8 In. keyless chuck to accept a wide range of bits as well as enough torque to serve as a powerful solution to satisfy most driving and drilling needs. The DN18DSLQ4M is also equipped with a built in LED light to illuminate the work surface, should it be used in a dark area. This tool will reach up to 1,800 RPM while also being equipped with a variable speed paddle switch for ultimate comfort and control. The DN18DSLP4 also includes a side handle for added control, a belt hook to keep the tool close at hand and a battery indicator to monitor the status and reduce down time. This item is available as a tool body only and is compatible with all MetaboHPT's 18 V Li-ion slide-type batteries (sold separately).

Perfect for cabinetry work

Feels a little dated
Not the worst tool, not the best. Plenty of torque despite the older brushed motor, it runs a 3/4" spade bit through studs nicely. The chuck is a big let down. It feels pretty cheap, and the max 3/8" capacity means a lot of hole saws, forstener bits, and my pvc reamer tools don't fit in the little chuck, it's a shame to loose that much usability. Nothing else is wrong, I just feel like I went back in time a little bit buying this tool, it's a little dated.

Tool works good. When it reaches its max torque, the drill will stop & light goes off, to prevent burning the motor up.

DIYer Dream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stuff months ago and I use it way more often than I could ever imagine. I often like doing projects around the house with drill drivers or screwdrivers. Sometimes you need a right angle drill to get into tight spots. This drill does not disappoint whether you're fixing a couch or trying to find an angle for a fastener that's coming a loose or you're working underneath your sink, it just gets the job done.

Good for light duty work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I barely could drill though 2x12 douglas fir joist with a new brand 1/2" spade bit. I had to put it in forward and reverse several times to get through each hole.
