The DH52MEY 2-1/16 In. SDS max Brushless rotary hammer is the newest rotary hammer in the MetaboHPT lineup. It is constructed with the new AHB (Aluminum housing body) construction that provides significant durability and extended tool life. (UVP) (User vibration protection) technology provides vibration protection by first utilizing a polymer coated vibration absorbing handle, then lessening vibration even more with the use of an internal counter balance. The Brushless motor provides a no-maintenance tool so you don't have to stop working to perform routine carbon brush changes. Brushless technology also allows you to run the tool on a portable generator and not worry about work being slowed by voltage drop under loads. The DH52MEY should be the next tool in your jobsite arsenal.

Continuous operation button located at the base of the handle when in hammer mode only, for less fatigue when chiseling for extended periods

ripped up a sidewalk

Would Not Recommend

this went on deal of the day and I bought it; I did not need to buy it but was like screw it. I generally don't do masonry. but then I finally used it for demoing a sidewalk and it ripped it out like butter. I've used it for smaller concrete destruction before and this thing is amazing.

What a tank!

Would Recommend

I had a large job that consisted with large rock removal. We had to drill for explosives on a hill side. 1 1/2 holes, at 24" Was using a bosh sds max. Let me tell you this metabo drilled 3 holes to the 1. Hate plastic? Me too The full metal housing is very tough. But she is a bit heavy, to be expected I did have a issue with the power cord (user error) but service had me tuned up by the end of the day.
